Hi guys,
So three days ago, I experienced this problem that I can surf the web normally, but I can't connect to game servers, when I try to connect to game server, its like it disconnects from the game server alone, or times out. The games I am not able to play are:
1- DotA 2 (Used to play it normally)
2- CrossFire
3- HEAT Online (Worked once yesterday, but after restarting the router, it didn't work again)
Actually, sometimes they work, and sometimes they don't. But I still can surf the internet whenever I want.
My router is a WiiMax router (Good signal) and it is not connected to a modem. I haven't changed any setting in the router.
My AntiVirus: Avira Internet Security 2013, had it since January 2013 and no problems.
So what is this problem from? My computer? My Router? or my ISP?
Please help me ASAP
Best,
MJaoune

Hey guys welcome back to another video i had this steam error that said download corrupt or the download would not even start at all so i decided to go and dig into. Dec 18, 2013 - as well as 'Preparing DayZ files for install. Got a new game and cant play it:( Yes this issue is going on and widespread I believe.
Play Store
This is a common type of error that can occur any time a game is updated or installed on Steam. Clearing the Steam download cache will cause the Steam client to flush. Outlined above, it is possible that something outside of Steam is responsible. It is a good idea to test the issue by connecting to an entirely different. I own the game for steam, and im having an issue where, no matter what I will lag out of the game every single game with the message 'connection to server timed out'. Ive beed troubleshooting the issue for a week now and have reinstalled 3 times, as well as checked every single driver in my computer, no joke. Latest nvidia drivers as well. Steam Servers. We do not allow individual posts about the steam servers being down. [Game Name] (connection time out)'. Seems to only be Microsoft Flight. Trap or die 3 album zip download.
Steam Wont Download Game Connection Timed Out Windows 10
Since the last patch, Dota2 has sat in my Downloads section not downloading anything. It showed I had 0 of a 0 sized update, and was just permanently 'Starting'. The game wouldn't load until it finished downloading the update it wasn't starting.
I left it doing that for a week or so (?) hoping it would sort itself, but it didn't.
I have also tried :
- Restarting Steam
- Restarting my PC
- Deleting Clientregistry.blob
- Verifying game cache
- Changing my download location
- Applying the Steam Beta
- Deleting the game files and attempting to redownload from scratch
- Running CCleaner after uninstalling Dota2 (as was suggested on some other similar forum thread)
I now have Dota2 sat greyed out in my Library, but clicking Install just causes it to sit on 'Preparing Dota2 files for install..' for a few minutes before popping up the error message 'An error occurred while installing Dota 2 (Connection timeout)'.
Other Steam games have merrily been installed, downloaded and patched while this was going on. Dota2 Test also installs and downloads.
Suggestions welcome.
